Thieu Tri 3 Tien ND (1841-1845) AU Details (Surface Hairlines) NGC, KM275, SCH-260. Obv. Inscription "Thieu Tri Thong Bao" (Declaration of Reign). Rev. Small dragon. Although the date range is noted as (1848-1883) by NGC and there are various ranges listed in differing references, we have decided to go with the range of 1841-1845 as it appears to be more accurate. This piece is quite impressive with more detail expressed than typically encountered and pleasing surfaces despite the noted minuscule flaws. A rare silver incarnation of the 3 Tien and a desirable addition to an elite cabinet.
