Fengtien. Kuang-hsü Dollar Year 24 (1898) AU58 NGC, KM-Y87, L&M-471. By all appearances, this offering is as close to Mint State as possible, with its bright cartwheeling luster and bold devices which show so little wear as to be virtually imperceptible. The fields are satiny and attractive, with an even dispersion of honeyed tone across both obverse and reverse, which show no major digs, scratches, or other marks. All said, a beautiful specimen with all the appeal of a higher grade coin.
