A trio of Maya stone celts from Guatemala, ca. 250 - 700 A.D. They are 2-1/8" to 2-1/4" long and are made from dark green stone. These nicely polished examples are known as "Tears of the Gods" and were placed into the fields as an offering to agricultural deities. Ex Spitz estate. [Value range: $200 - $300].
