A choice hinged currency cuff from West Africa, ca. late 19th - early 20th century. This heavy example is 4-1/2? high, 5? in diameter and is made from copper. The locking mechanism and hinges are intact and there are nicely detailed design elements on either side of the opening. Beautiful aged patina. Ex NOA Collection. [Value range: $200 - $400].
