A copper stamp seal in the form of two wading birds, Northern Iran, ca. 1500 - 1000 B.C. , standing on a rectangular base, the birds are nicely detailed in naturalistic style, the base depicting a bird-headed winged deity offering a vessel to a figure who holds a club. 26 x 23 x 14mm. Nicely patinated and quite rare! Ex California Museum of Art De-Accession, acquired 1989. [Est Value: $200 - $300].
