A beautiful Harappan jar from the northern Indus Valley, ca. 2500 - 1800 B.C. This finely made vessel is 3-3/4? in diameter and is decorated with a pair on nicely detailed fish. They are set off with bands of linear and geometric d?cor. Intact, with strong paint and heavy mineral deposits. Ex U.K. collection. [Value range: $250 - $400].
