1935 $1 to 1967 Complete Date Set; Intriguing Set that comes from the late Louis Goldsmith Estate. Lou Goldsmith was one of the largest coin dealers in Montréal at one time. Lou had prepared this set for a customer, prior to his passing, and hence never made the sale. With his passing this set passed on as an inheritance to the consignor. Lou Goldsmith was also the owner of the famous U.S. 1804 American Silver Dollar, which was sold to a private buyer. This set includes 1935(2), 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1945, 1946, 1947 Blt, 1947 Ptd, 1947 ML, 1948 1949(2), 1950, 1950 Arn, 1951 WL(2), 1952 WL, 1952 NWL, 1952 SWL, 1953 SF, 1953 NSF, 1954, 1955, 1955 Arn No DB, 1956, 1957 WL, 1957 1 WL, 1958, 1959, 1960(2), 1961(2), 1963, 1964, 1965 SB Blt(2), LgBd Blt(2), SB Ptd, Lg Bd Ptd, 1966 & 1967. Lot of 46 coins mainly EF to Choice Uncirculated. Key dates are decent and attractive. A lovely set.
