K/A/Λ/O/N ('good' in Greek) downwards in left field; in right field, mint bi-hims ('in Hims' in Kufic); in lower right field, pellet within circle Imperial bust facing, wearing diadem surmounted by cross, paludamentum and cuirass, holding globus cruciger in his right hand. Rev. Large m between E/M/I - C/H/C; above, eight-pointed star between pellets within circles; in exergue tayyib ('good' in Kufic). Album 541. DOCAB 69. Very fine.
