ISLAMIC, Islamic Weights. Circa 7th-10th century CE or later. Weight of 10 Dirhams (Bronze, 17x20x21 mm, 29.50 g), a coin weight in the form of a polyhedron with six square faces and eight triangular ones; all faces punched with an uncertain symbol within circle within round incuse. A carefully produced Islamic coin weight. Earthen deposits, otherwise, very fine.


The lack of inscriptions make it hard to date this piece with any degree of certainty.
