KINGS OF LYDIA. Alyattes II, circa 610-560 BC. Hemihekte – 1/12 Stater (Electrum, 7 mm, 1.16 g), Sardes. Head of a lion with sun and rays on its forehead to right. Rev. Incuse square punch. Weidauer 79-85. Struck from the usual somewhat worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
