KINGS OF LYDIA. Kroisos, circa 560-546 BC. 1/6 Stater (Subaeratus, 11 mm, 1.47 g), a contemporary imitation from an irregular mint. Confronted foreparts of lion right and bull left. Rev. Two incuse squares, one larger than the other. Cf. Berk 25 and SNG Kayhan 1019 (for prototype). Somewhat rough and some breaks in plating, otherwise, nearly very fine.
