SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos III 'the Great', 223-187 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 3.87 g, 12 h), Apameia on the Orontes (?), circa 212. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ Elephant walking right; to right, monogram. SC 1065.6. A nicely toned and very well centered example with a beautiful portrait. Slightly porous, otherwise, good very fine.
