SICILY. Gela. Circa 339-310 BC. AE (Bronze, 16 mm, 4.14 g, 12 h). Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΓΕΛΩIΩN Bearded head of the river-god Gelas to left, wearing wreath of grain ears and bull's horn pointing backward. CNS III 55. Jenkins, Gela, 544. Thin flan crack and somewhat smoothed, otherwise, good very fine.
