MACEDON, Chalkidian League. Circa 358-355 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 14.38 g, 7 h), Annikas, magistrate. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. XAΛ-KIΔ-EΩN / [E]ΠI ANNIKA Kithara with seven strings. Robinson & Clement p. 77, 122 (same dies). SNG ANS 510 (same obverse die). A lovely, well pedigreed example with a fine style head of Apollo. Very light porosity on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
