Cn. Cornelius Lentulus, 76-75 BC. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.70 g, 1 h), brockage mint error, uncertain mint in Spain. G•P•R Diademed and draped bust of the Genius Populi Romani to right, scepter over his shoulder. Rev. Incuse of obverse. Cf. Babelon (Cornelia) 54, Crawford 393/1a, RBW 1432 and Sydenham 752. Very fine.
