M. Nonius Sufenas, 59 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.74 g, 5 h), Rome. SVFENAS - S•C Head of Saturn to right; to left, harpa and conical stone. Rev. [PR•]L•V•P•F• / SEX•NONI Roma seated left on pile of arms, holding scepter and sword, crowned by Victory standing behind her. Babelon (Nonia) 1. Crawford 421/1. RBW 1517. Sydenham 885. Beautifully toned. The reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
