Umayyads of Spain, Caliphate of Cordoba, 'Abd al-Rahman III al-Nasir (AH 300-350 / AD 912-961) AR Dirham. Al-Andalus mint, AH 321 = AD 933. First part of Kalima in three lines across field, citing Muhammad below the 3d line / "The Imam al-Nasir li-din Allah Commander of the faithful" in four lines across field; Qur'an IX, 33 around. Album 350.3 (RR); Miles 200b; Vives 378. 3.12g, 25mm.

Some areas of weak striking, otherwise Near Very Fine. Rare.

The coins of Abd al-Rahman dated before AH 330 are all rare, considering that the mint of the Caliphate of Cordova, of which Abd al-Rahman is in fact the founder, begins its official activity in AH 316.
