Electrotype Reproduction of a Lysimachos AR Tetradrachm. Stamped MM on the edge at 12h. Head of the deified Alexander 'the Great' right, wearing diadem and horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros enthroned left, shield decorated with Medusa's head resting against base of throne, spear resting behind; ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to right, ΛΥΣΙΜΑXΟΥ to left, monogram within wreath in outer left field, Σ in inner left field. Cf. Thompson 102 for type; cf. Spink 17006, 25 September 2017, lot 37 for a further example of this type as an electrotype (same obv. die). 14.11g, 27mm, 11h.

Condition as seen. An Attractive piece, with a deep tone.
