Barbados Copper Token issue circa 1830-1850, for Moses Tolanto, Freedom without Slavery. Halfpenny sized and depicting the Oak Barrel of Rum with initials MT on reverse and a Bale with MT initials on obverse. Moses (Tolano) was an Island trader of the time and son to Joseph Tolano both of Bridgetown Barbados. VF to GVF grade and a very scarce item. (Pr;27/72, KM: Tn.3, Lyall.93)
