World War I awarded to two brothers: World War I Medal with Mentioned in Dispatches Oak Leaf, awarded to Lieut-Col. A.P.Liston-Foulis. NEF. Lieut-Col. Liston-Foulis (the son of Baronet Foulis of Colinton) was mentioned in dispatches 4/7/1913 on his promotion from Captain to Major. He was killed in action in Cambrai, France 30/11/1917, and is buried at Gouzeaucourt New British Cemetery IV. A.3, World War I Victory Medal awarded to Lieut G.M. Liston-Foulis, Seaforth Highlanders, NEF. Lieut.G.M.Foulis, Durham Light Infantry, was commissioned to Northern Russia in November 1915. He fought in the Archangel Expedition in 24 Oct.1918 to 17 Jun.1919 in North Russia, He died in Edinburgh 10/6/1957
