China National Bank of China 10 Cents 1921 Pick 511. The smallest known denomination from this storied bank. The bank was established in Canton, and was well capitalized enough to start issuing banknotes at an early stage. All banknotes featured a portrait of President Sun Yat Sen. However, after only a few years of operations, the bank folded. Most banknotes were expected to have been redeemed, leading to the rarity of any notes from this bank today.
