A complete five denomination Specimen set from the September 1921 issue, including the scarce and seldom offered 50 and 100 Yuan denominations. Printed by the American Banknote Company, these multicolored examples have the iconic vignette of a bridge in the forefront and pagoda in the background. Red Specimen overprints, all zero serial numbers, and 2 POCs are present on each note. The 1 and 100 Yuan are graded PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 with comments of pinholes, the 10 and 50 Yuan are graded PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ, and the 5 Yuan is graded PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ with a comment of "note unaffected by issues in selvage".
