China Kwangtung Provincial Bank - Hainan Island 1 Dollar 1940 Pick S2449b. A surviving, rare example issued during the Japanese occupation. A portrait of Sun Yat-sen and a vignette of the Memorial building in Canton are seen on the front. This two signatures issue, with only two registered in the PMG Population report makes this example an extraordinary find.
