Patagonia - New France. Bronze Pattern Peso 1874, KMX-12, LeCompte-14 var, Proof 65 BN NGC Norweb Collection, flashy mirror surfaces with considerable mint red, highly attractive. Variety with milled edge and denomination as "UN PESO", no E for Essai. Ex-Norweb and Lepcyzk 1978, with two collector's tags. Very scarce fantasy coinage, long considered an important adjunct to the traditional Latin series.
