Edward IV, 2nd Reign (1471-83) gold Angel ND, S-2091, N-1626, Pierced Cross mm (struck 1473-77), London mint, MS63 NGC, lustrous and choice without problems, on a large flan, St Michael and dragon fairly crisp in detail, ship sharp but the strike fades on and above the cross/mast, most of legends easily readable. This type is easily distinguishable by the appearance of an "E" and a rose by the mast, and by heavy pellets decorating the ship. A pleasing example of this issue! From The Marston Collection of British Coins.
