Elizabeth I (1558-1603) gold Crown ND, S-2522, Lis mm, XF40 NGC, wavy flan with deep creases but broad and showing all legend details, portrait sharp on ruff and lower area but soft on crown, lower part of reverse shield also weakly detailed, fairly even wear, well-set gold color. Cross crosslet and Lis mintmarks (1558-61), probably struck 1560 with this combination of marks. Scarce.From The Marston Collection of British Coins.
