George I gold 5 Guineas 1716, S-3626, first year of issue, XF45 NGC, a choice looking coin having only small ancient abrasions, a few small edge marks, struck slightly off center, sharp portrait and reverse shield, glimmers of luster among the letters of the legends, lovely old-gold color with reddish hues. The first issues of this king, in various denominations, are difficult to locate in high grades. Very scarce with excellent eye-appeal.From The Marston Collection of British Coins.
