George II Roses & Plumes Shilling 1731, S-3698, Young Bust, MS64 NGC, a super shilling with a sharp portrait and the reverse fully struck down to the tiniest detail, very choice surfaces, excellent old-time golden gray toning, lush in texture and showing sparkling silver luster around letters of the legends on both sides (indicative of total originality in a silver coin, and rarely seen). Rare grade. If you are serious about shillings, this coin belongs in your collection. The cataloguer has not seen a finer example of this type. From The Estate of John C. Hugon.
