George II gold 5 Guineas 1753, S-3666, Old Bust, AU55 PCGS, boldly and evenly struck with all motifs and legends sharp as can be, intensely lustrous, faint wear or use showing in the fields and on the high points of the portrait -- but not a single impairing mark or blemish. This golden minter's masterpiece from the middle of the 18th century glows, as well, with the most beautiful golden toning imaginable. Our estimate may be conservative; this piece is valued at £16,000 in EF in the 2012 SCBC, but few pieces show up with this much eye-appeal. A dream of a coin!
