George III Pattern Penny 1797, Peck-1082 (bronzed copper, rare), Early Soho, PR64 PCGS, some tiny contact ticks but a decidedly choice and very eye-appealing example of the pattern for the penny which Peck notes is "the first instance of Britannia with a helmet, a style not adopted for currency until the Pistrucci farthing of 1821." A real beauty! From The Estate of John C. Hugon.
