Victoria Shilling 1855, Young Head, S-3904, KM734.1, MS67 Terner PCGS, a superb coin, just about fully struck with sparkling "hard" or semi-reflective luster, marvelous satiny texture to the metal on the portrait, and blessed with some of the most beautiful iridescent toning we can recall seeing on any mid-Victorian silver coin, of any denomination: "splendid sun-gold and lime-green" the toning was called when it last appeared for sale on June 1, 2004. One of the highest grades given to any Young Head shilling, and this is a very scarce date. Noted on the grading insert as once part of the Terner Collection, listed in numerous categories among the PCGS Registry Sets. Elusive so fine! From The Estate of John C. Hugon.
