George VI currency Threepence "hoard" 1941, S-4085, KM848, a delightful group of Mint State coins, some very choice, some with minor abrasions, probably saved at the start of WW2 (the last 3d struck for home use, as from 1942 onward these were issued only for the colonial nations). The 2012 SCBC value is given as £25 in Unc (about $40 each). We have never before encountered such a large group of these.
