French Colony. 1 Bit, Heart shaped Hole with Beveled Edge and "II" Counterstamped on 1735 Madrid 1 Real, KM7, Burzio 350 (similar), 2.64g, 40.7gr, Fine15 NGC with a few rim knocks. Ex: Randolph Zander in private sale. 1965. Rare. Current research has shown that many of the pieces thought to have been from Martinique actually originated in Gibraltar. Sold with an old collector's tag noting the pedigree. The II was counterstamped before the heart cut-out was removed.
