British Colonial Proof 50 Cents 1791, KM5a, copper, plain edge, bronzed, PR67 BN NGC, superb, full proof strike, essentially perfect chocolate-brown color, fabulous surfaces -- we cannot recall seeing this coin's equal, certified or not, in many years. Faint depression behind lion's tail may be a scuff in the flan under the bronzing or possibly a tooling mark, otherwise the surfaces are flawless. Rims are perfect. Edge is reflective. A great piece!
