Paper Money 1907-14 Inflationary Coinage, KM-A279, B279 & 279. Inflationary issues were denominated in Pesos redeemable in unbacked "paper money"; these CuNi pieces proved unacceptable with the public which had been schooled to expect gold or silver coinage for its intrinsic value. Lot includes eight of the Peso: dated 1907, 1910 (3 pcs), 1911, 1912-H and 1913 (2). Two Pesos are 1907, 1910 & 1914. Five Pesos are 1907, 1909 & 1914. Quality is from worn (only the 1914 pair) to choice UNC or nearly so (most of the lot). Many of these are truly scarce in top quality. Sold as is, NO Return.Dana Roberts Collection and Study Group.
