Ceiba 25 Cntv 1864 one-year Type, KM 105. Y-11. VF- EF, well struck for issue and with some colorfully toned luster. This is actually a very scarce quality level for the type; it is much better than the Gurdian and KM plate coins. First year of new denomination (within the silver and copper series, all other denominations began the next year of 1865). During this year, being an experimental one, the value was rendered in small numbers difficult for the public to quickly detect during street commerce; by very late that year, the die was redesigned with very large numbers and concomitant denominational designation.
Estimate: 200.00-400.00 USD
