Tokens of Earlier Periods 1659 -1819, Seven pieces from the 17th Century lead to nine of the 18th Century and end up with five from the early 1800's. First five are small-size crude coppers while final two are the "coinage" styles like "Limerick obsidionals" dated 1691 & 1696. The early pieces from the 1700's are larger coppers, mostly of crude style, while the "Voce Populi" issue of 1760 shows evolution. The Bank Tokens of 1805, 1808 and 1813 are followed by the Lloyd's Newspaper overstamp of post-1805 and a Menlough Castle Sixpence of 1819. Quality is typical for the eras.
