KINGS OF MACEDON. Amyntas II, 395/4-393 BC. Obol (Silver, 8.5 mm, 0.46 g, 3 h). Diademed head of Apollo to right. Rev. Forepart of wolf to right within incuse square. SNG ANS 83 (same dies). Previously attributed in error to an uncertain mint in Asia Minor, this is, in fact, one of the rarest coins of the short rule of king Amyntas II of Macedon. About very fine.
