KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 14.33 g, 9 h), struck under Philip III, Amphipolis, c. 323/2- c.316/5. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Young jockey, holding palm branch and reins, riding horse to right; below horse, wreath; below raised foreleg M. Le Rider pl. 45, 26. SNG ANS 607 & 609. A well centered tetradrachm of fine style, well struck and particularly attractive. About extremely fine.
