EPEIROS. The Molossi. Circa 360-330/25 BC. (Bronze, 18 mm, 5.85 g, 2 h). MOΛOΣΣΩN Vertical thunderbolt on shield. Rev. Vertical thunderbolt within wreath. Franke 52 var. (V-/R47). SNG Copenhagen 53. Same dies as obolos 9, 596. Rare so well-preserved and with a nice deep brown patina. Some uncleaned deposits on the obverse, and with the reverse slightly off center, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
