IONIA. Erythrai. Circa 550-500 BC. 1/48 Stater (Electrum, 5.5 mm, 0.31 g). Head of Herakles to left, with an almond-shaped frontal eye, and wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. SNG Copenhagen -. SNG von Aulock - cf. 1942 for a different denomination. Extremely rare and probably unpublished. Both sides slightly off center and with some minor marks, otherwise, extremely fine.
