LYDIA. Tralleis. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophoric Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 12.56 g, 12 h), Phyli.. magistrate, circa 100-90. Basket (cista mystica) from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; above, ΦYΛI; to left, TPAΛ; to right, bee flying upward. Apparently unpublished in the standard references. Cf. CNG 63, 2003, 532. Very fine.
