AΛEΞANΔPOY Diademed head of Alexander the Great to right, with hair drawn backward as if flowing in the wind. Rev. KOINON MAKEΔONΩN B NEΩKO Alexander the Great, in armor, throwing a spear downward, riding Bukephalas galloping to right; below Bukephalas, OΛYMΠIA in two lines. AMNG 795 (same dies). A well struck, clear coin with attractive details and patina. Uncommon with the inscription OΛYMΠIA. Very fine.
