Saladin enthroned facing, holding globe in his left hand; around, circular inscription. Rev. Arabic inscription in three lines surrounded by mint formula and date. Album 791.4. Balog, Ayyubids 182. Whelan Type III, 258-60. Well struck and perfectly centered with an attractive brown patina. Rarely seen – if seen – in this condition. An important and desirable coin. Nearly extremely fine.
