Watch List notes:

1st-2nd centuries A.D. Potin (19 mm, 4.21 g). Roaring lion standing left facing yupa (sacrificial altar), with traces of Brahmi legend above / 4-orbed 'Ujjain' symbol with a nandipada between each orb. Scarce. Attractive green patina. Very fine.

These scarce coins were issued in the Junnar region of present-day Maharashtra.
