Mahadeva. Ca. A.D. 1261-1270. AR 1/4 dramma (6 mm, .22 g). Lion standing left with one paw raised / Nagari legend Maha/deva. Not listed in Pieper or Mitchiner. Very rare and choice, with wonderful detailing on such a small coin. This quarter denomination is not recorded in the standard catalogs. Toned. Very fine.
