Tipu Sultan. Ca. A.D. 1782-1799. Æ paisa (21 mm, 11.39 g). Nagar, AH 1199 (1785). Elephant advancing right / Mint name and epithet; date above. KM 103.1. Only one specimen with the date on top of reverse has been sold in auction - for $170 by Stephen Album in 2014. This specimen is better quality. Choice with lovely patina. Very fine.
