Thrace, Cherronesos. Ca. 386-338 B.C. AR hemidrachm (12 mm, 2.34 g, 1 h). Forepart of lion right, head turned to look back / Quadripartite incuse square with alternating raised and sunken quarters; pellet in one sunken quarter, bunch of grapes in the other. McClean 4079; Weber 2419 and 2434; SNG Copenhagen -; BMC 11. Bold strike. Toned. Nice very fine.
