King Kutapada. Ca. 150-100 B.C. Æ (18 mm, 3.6 g). Elephant advancing right with trunk raised; Brahmi legend Rano Kutapa(dasa) above / Bold nandipada. Not listed in Pieper and Mitchiner. Very rare. Earthen green patina. Fine.

Kutapada is a recently discovered post-Mauryan ruler of Vidarbha.His coins are missing from most collections.
