Bahudhanake type. 1st century B.C. Æ unit (18 mm, 3.88 g). Bull standing right with yupa (sacrificial post) to right, with Brahmi legend Yaudheyanam Bahudhanake around / Traces of symbols. Pieper 1110; Devendra Handa, Tribal Coins of Ancient India, plates XL-XLI. Scarce specimen, with a clear legend. Reddish-brown and earthen green patina. Good fine / fair.

This scarce early type is called the Bahudhanake type because of its legend. It is listed by Handa as Class 2 in the Yaudheya series.
